LADIES LUNCHEON: ATTRACTING BIRDS TO YOUR BACKYARD We are halfway through March and spring is just around the corner. In April we will welcome the beautiful hummingbirds back to our mountains, so we need to be ready! For our April 3 Women’s Connection Luncheon, our Feature Guest will be Yvonne Bombardier, co-owner, of Wild Birds Unlimited in Dawsonville and she will educate us on the best food and feeders for our fine-feathered friends. Yvonne has a passion for birds and became a master birder through the Seattle Audubon. She has traveled to Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Texas and Arizona to add to her life list of birds. Yvonne managed a WBU store in Everett, Washington for eight years and has worked in five other WBU stores. She dreamed of opening her own store and that dream became a reality in December 2004. Yvonne shares her love of birds in the community by leading bird walks for the public and giving presentations to local organizations. Yvonne will bring sample bird products from her store including a door prize for one of our lucky ladies! The store is located at 425 Quill Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534 (706) 429-0077 or visit the website: www.dawsonville.wbu.com Our Speaker is Gail Latham from Hoschton, GA,an X-Ray technologist who knew something was missing from the “big picture” of life. Gail will tell us why she now “radiates” confidence! Our luncheon venue is the North Georgia Technical College, Building A, Highway 515, Blairsville and our buffet lunch will be catered by Amazing Grace Catering & Events. The cost is $15 and includes the program, door prizes, and a delicious lunch. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program starting at noon.
