THE BUSINESS OF ART by Bobbi Umbach
As an artist, it’s natural to prefer to be in the studio and not have to bother with the “business” side of things, but even if all you want to do is make enough money to buy raw materials to continue making your art, it can pay off to know the ins and outs of the more tedious side of your art. Come see for yourself.
Bobbi Umbach retired as Vice President of Training and Development for an international human resources company in Philadelphia. Prior to that she had her own training company specializing in sales and management training. She currently works as a Wellness Coach with WW (formerly Weight Watchers). She is a fused glass artist and taught fused glass for 16 years at the John Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC.
