Watch the 2017 Solar Eclipse in Blairsville, GA. Blairsville-Union County is in the path of the total solar eclipse that will cross the United States on Monday, August 21, 2017, and it was recently named one of the best places to watch the Eclipse in Georgia. The Partial Phase starts at 1:05pm and Totality begins at 2:34pm. Blairsville will receive 1 minute and 58 seconds of totality!

NASA Astronaut and International Space Station Commander, Dr. Leroy Chiao will be in Blairsville to speak about the Solar Eclipse on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Time and location are TBD, but check back for more details on this exciting event!

Eclipse viewing glasses and Blairsville Eclipse Experience T-shirts are for sale at the Welcome Center, while supplies last. Remember that you should not look at the Solar Eclipse without proper eye wear.  

Glasses are $2 each.
